The Euromed Permanent University Forum is a network representing the 37 Euro-Mediterranean countries working on internationalization at its most general meaning. Its aim is to help to establish a Euro-Mediterranean network for higher education and research, following the example of the Bologna Process in Europe. This process is to be undertaken by the universities of the Euro-Mediterranean who are the key actors of its evolution.

Universities are in fact involved in the social and economic development of societies and play a crucial role in the development of their cultures in an environment of mutual respect and common Euro-Mediterranean tradition.

The members of the association will stay up to identify and put into practice the entire process with the purpose of establishing a Euro-Mediterranean network of higher education and research, of creating specific academic and cultural links, as well as encouraging contact between universities and neighbouring communities.
