VI Forum
The VI Euro-Mediterranean University Forum will be held in the Université Saint Joseph, in Beirut (Lebanon) on 27 and 28 October 2009.
The Forum will gather scholars, young researchers and representatives of universities, university networks, international organizations and higher education national agencies from all the 44 countries of the Union pour la Méditerrannée (UPM). This is why the Forum constitutes a platform to develop a common vision and concrete proposals for Higher Education and Research in the Euro-Mediterranean area.
This year’s programme will focus on the analysis of the "Mechanisms of Transformation of the Euro-Mediterranean Universities". In the agenda of the Forum, there will be found both plenary sessions on "Quality Assurance and Research" and "EuroMed Mobility" and also study cases that can enhance the global Mediterranean expertise on transformation of universities. The results of the Working Groups of the EPUF on Quality Assurance and Research and Mobility will be presented in the Forum as well.
